Recently released Indie farming simulation title Mirthwood has a lot of elements for you to explore throughout your playthrough. One such mysterious item is the Fabled Feathers that you can collect. Even though the game does not explain where these feathers actually originate from, they serve a very crucial purpose- upgrading your inventory and skill slots.
A detailed guide on where you can find Fabled Feathers and how to use them effectively, has been provided below.
Fabled Feathers and their use in Mirthwood
Fabled Feathers are mysterious colorful feathers that are hidden throughout the game world. Even though you cannot sell them for money, you can hand them over to an NPC called Fernfoot to upgrade your inventory. Fernfoot can be found in the Old Forest east of Brightoak, and you'll have to spend eight Fabled Feathers to upgrade your inventory every time.

While the game allows you to collect a vast variety of items, you can carry only a limited quantity at a time. Hence, having a ton of space in your inventory in a game like this is essential. If you intend to upgrade the available space for a specific item, you can do so by selecting it while upgrading using Fabled Feathers.
Mentioned below is a list of some locations where you can find Fabled Feathers in the game:
- Go south from Fernfoot's hut and look for a campsite. Here, you will find a sleeping bag and a Fabled Feather near a barrel.
- Head towards the riverbank to the south of the bridge in Brightoak. You should find a Fabled Feather under a large tree.
- As you move to the south from Brightoak, you will see a stage. Jump on it and look around to find another Fabled Feather in the left corner.
- Make your way to Clayton the Blacksmith's house which is located to the southwest of Brightoak. Look for a bench in front of the house. You will find a Fabled Feather on top of this bench.
