Warzone is one of the many games that have closed the gap between mobile and more powerful hardware. Activision's recent announcement has set the community buzzing as many are excited to see how the mobile adaptation will be.
However, the majority of players are strictly against the idea of any system that puts PC and console players against mobile players.
When Call of Duty insider Charlie Intel posted a tweet asking for opinions, the verdict became quite clear. The reasons vary from one person to another, but the majority are strictly against it. While some of the reasons have a genuine rationale, few others seem like vendettas. Although Activision is yet to announce a future map for the game, most players seem to be against the idea of any crossplay.

Majority of Call of Duty players don't want crossplay in Warzone mobile
Several games offer crossplay across different platforms, including handheld ones. However, most Call of Duty players think otherwise, and have expressed their reasons on social media.
It's generally accepted that playing an FPS game is a lot easier with mouse and keyboard or physical controllers compared to using touch control on mobile phones. One user stated that crossplay will lead to mobile gamers getting killed incessantly in the game. The same thing appealed to other gamers in a different manner.
There have been problems with the different capabilities in the PC and console versions. One gamer believes that the complaints will rise if mobile is included.
The lack of an FOV slider on the console has been a major issue and it could turn for the worse with crossplay on mobile.
One user is also against cross-progression. This feature allows players to transfer progress like weapon skins, levels, etc. across different platforms.
One player stated that crossplay might lead to more bad blood based on the existing history between PC and console players.
Another user also stated how it will lead to wider skillgaps which could result in poorer matches.
Many players over the years have complained over the quality of Warzone. One user went on to state how the broken nature of the game on consoles means that it shouldn't have a mobile adaptation at all.
While crossplay can be conceptualized, the gap between hardware can be too much.
A lot is left to be announced in the form of official information. One major decision that is left for the developers to announce is whether Warzone will get crossplay to any extent after the game comes on mobile. But if they consider the feedback from the players, crossplay is something Warzone should avoid with mobile.
