Mobile Legends Bang Bang Women's Invitational Tournament 2024 (MWI 2024) has been featured in the Esports World Cup, and the community is incredibly excited about it. In the Quarterfinals, Group A table-topper Falcons Vega played against Group B's second-ranked squad, Net Angels. Cloud9 Female, second in Group A, faced the Group C leader, Victory Song Gamers.

Group B's first-ranked team (Omega Empress) went up against Gaming Gladiators x GG Homegirls, who held the second spot in Group D. And Group D's table topper (Team Vitality) faced Group C's Zino Lillies.

Mobile Legends Bang Bang Women's Invitational Tournament in Esports World Cup: Playoff results

In the first game of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Women's Invitational Tournament's Quarterfinals Playoffs, Team Vitality faced Zino Lillies. The Group D leader and one of the top contenders to win the tournament, the former squad was prepared for anything the opponent could throw its way.

This battle was between Vitality's consistency and Zino Lillies' versatility. While the latter tried its best, the former managed to win the first two games within 15 minutes and qualified for the next round.

In the second Quarterfinals match, Falcons Vega faced Net Angels. The latter had entered this phase after dominating the Group Stage, aiming to show why it was the dark horse of the tournament.

However, Team Falcons Vega was the Group A table topper and had also played remarkably in the initial phase to qualify for the Quarterfinals as the first-ranked team in Group A. The squad managed to clean-sweep its opponent in the second game, winning the series 2-0.

Victory Song Gamers faced Cloud9 Female in the third Quarterfinals game of Mobile Legends Bang Bang Women's Invitational Tournament 2024 in the Esports World Cup. While the North American squad gave its fans hope after qualifying for the Playoff stage, it failed to retain its form and was beaten by Victory Song Gamers. VSG managed to win the series 2-0 and qualified for the Semifinals.

The final game between Gaming Gladiators Homegirls and Omega Empress was a clash of titans. While the latter is already among the top teams in Mobile Legends Bang Bang, GG Homegirls — the female roster of the popular franchise HomeBois — is tough to beat.

Gaming Gladiator Homegirls won the first match, but Omega Empress fought back strongly in the second one. In the final round, the latter secured the first and second lords to invade GG Homegirls' base, securing its victory.

Tomorrow (June 27, 2024) will be the final day of the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Women's Invitational tournament. Both the Semifinals and Grand Final will be played on the same day.
