The official trailer shows that Phoveus has risen to protect the borderlands of the Abyss. The bloodthirsty, unruly monsters are arriving at the bleeding border, and to defend them, chained with Evil Gods, our hero arrives on the battlefield.

While it was only a 30-second trailer, it suggests that Phoveus' lore is the first major change in this revamp. It looks like Phoveus, from being a prisoner forced into a war, will now become the guard of the borderlands. He takes the drastic measures of unlocking the seal of the Evil God to utilize the Demonic Power.

The trailer also suggests that his weapon is going to change. What seems to be a spiky-chain-wrapped rod will replace the chained lantern players are used to seeing in his hand. The new weapon is clearly quite heavy as he can be seen dragging it while walking. Thus, his movement speed could potentially decrease to some extent.

That said, overall, the Phoveus revamp in Mobile Legends Bang Bang has made him scary, and hopefully, the community will like this new look on the hero.

While the changes mentioned in the previous segment were based on the official trailer, this segment discusses all the rumors revolving around the revamp in Mobile Legends Bang Bang.

Per the Phoveus revamp that arrived on the MLBB Advance Server earlier, Phoveus will not be a mage hero anymore. The developer has changed his attack type from magic to physical. However, this can be beneficial as now he will not use mana to attack anymore.

His passive skill has not changed a lot. It will help him detect champions that can dash or blink, and whenever he detects one, his movement speed will increase and his next basic attack will be enhanced.

If his first skill hits an enemy, the cooldown will last two seconds. When you attack using the first skill for the second time after hitting an enemy or creeps, it will drag enemies towards the center while activating his passive.

That said, if you missed your target when using the first skill for the first time, the cooldown will last for four seconds.

In this new Phoveus revamp in Mobile Legends Bang Bang, the second skill of the unit has also been changed. Phoveus now uses his second skill to airborne his enemies and drag them closer to him. He places his new weapon in front of him and hits it from behind to perform this second skill. This is an impressive change, as seen in the Advance Server.

Every time an enemy is moved when using the other two skills (using the second skill or the second phase of the first skill), you will be able to use his ultimate. A mark will appear on the enemies' heads whenever they are moved by Phoveus. Once these marks start appearing, Phoveus can jump and attack the marked enemies constantly.

Since Phoveus does not use mana anymore, he can spam his ultimate skill continuously, given that the mark is there on the enemies' heads. However, how many times you can spam will depend on the number of enemies you marked using the other two skills.

Do note that you can only use the ultimate when the enemies are moved by you. You cannot use the ultimate on enemies that blink, dash, or are moved by other teammates. It won't be available even if you use the Flameshot to force the enemy to move.

Another interesting change in the Mobile Legends Bang Bang Advance Server is that with each hit, Phoveus retrieves 8% of his lost HP, and deals 14% DMG of the enemy's Max HP.
