The awaited card game by Mojang, Scrolls had been under production for about 3 years. Initial reports suggested by Owen Hill put forth the idea of a “late november “ release (see more details here) however the game is available now Alpha and beta testers will be upgraded to the full version automatically, and those of you who still haven’t made up their minds can take the free demo for a spin to see what you think.
As confirmed by PC Gamer, the game’s website is full of glorious features of the game. Listed under "cool things about Scrolls," there are more than 350 scrolls in the game 350 scrolls, all fully animated and "nice to look at," and that everything but the four starter decks can be traded for scrolls or gold.
The game’s crafting system has been described as Three identical scrolls can be crafted into a higher-tier scroll, which will be "shinier," track stats, and, at the third tier, provide bonus gold when drawn—but they don't actually provide an advantage in combat.
For now, we can say it all looks charming enough to catch the eye of the seeker, if you are impressed by the demo you can receive a fiver at Scrolls.com. You can view the launch trailer right here.
