Monopoly Go City Racers event: All stages and how to build your team

Scopely recently announced the addition of the Monopoly Go City Racers event to its popular board game. This partner event is modeled like the successful Tycoon Racers event of June 2024. City Racers offers plenty of great rewards to help you complete your current board and advance to the next city boards.

The Monopoly Go City Racers event is scheduled to begin at 12 PM ET on August 2, 2024. However, to participate in the event, you must find partners. This guide will help you learn about the different phases of the race and how to find partners to race with.

What are the different stages in the Monopoly Go City Racers event?

As mentioned, the upcoming City Racers event akin to the Tycoon Racers event. Hence, the former will have two stages: Team up and Race.

• Team up: This stage is currently live in the title, wherein you have to add your friends. A total of four friends will team up to form a racing team.
• Race: The race will begin on August 2, 2024, and there will be three races (one each day). You will need to spend flags to progress in the races.

How can you build your team to participate in the race in the Monopoly Go City Racers event?

Three races will be conducted between two teams of four players each in the forthcoming City Racers event. As a tycoon, you can race in the event along with your in-game friends and their friends.

For further clarification, here are the steps you can follow to build your team for the City Racers partner event.

• Step 1: Log into Monopoly Go and click on the City Racers event logo to be redirected to the team build-up page.
• Step 2: Send an invite to your in-game friends or check the in-game box to accept any requests from your friends. However, make sure to add an active friend who will help progress in all three races.
• Step 3: If all four slots are not filled, ask your teammates/friends to invite their friends. However, if you fail to fill up all four slots, you will participate in the event along with random teammates.
• Step 4: Collect flags on your board which will act as tokens for the City Racers partners event.
