Monster Hunter Wilds is currently available for pre-order on all current-generation platforms, i.e., PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC (via Steam). It's not necessary to pre-order the game ahead of its release, especially if you're skeptical over the game's technical performance on PC, given it's using the same engine as Dragon's Dogma 2.
