The Mortal Kombat series is known as one of the games with a strong running storyline as compared to the games in the fighting game genre. So to put it simply, characters in the game die, fight and above all fall in love. This attribute of the Mortal Kombat series was depicted perfectly in the previous game of the series where the makers reintroduced the world and its characters and evidently so the follow up of the game has a lot to high standards to live up to in terms of story.
Although there is nothing to worry about as it looks like the new game is hitting the mark very well evident in the Mortal Kombat X story trailer, which was released yesterday.
The description given for the Mortal Kombat X story trailer puzzles us a little as it reads “The Who’s Next? – Official Mortal Kombat X Story Trailer, showcases the new generation of characters as they join forces to fight against the power hungry clone Mileena and her Outworld rebel army.”

Providing new players who are described as the descendants of former Mortal Kombat fighters is a very unique idea and will help fans in accepting the new characters as a part of the universe they have enjoyed for years.
