Memory of Chaos has been one of the hardest activities to clear after its release and it still holds the same title in Honkai Star Rail 2.4. To efficiently complete the game mode after each refresh, Trailblazers must use good DPS units, especially the meta-defining ones.
A post on X by the user @hxg_diluc shared a list of characters that have been used to complete the Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Memory of Chaos stages. While the same Memory of Chaos is still active, players can take a look at the top-picked DPS units to clear the mode if they are facing issues.
With that being said, let’s go over the top 10 most used DPS characters in Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Memory of Chaos.

Most popular DPS character picks in Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Memory of Chaos
Here are the top 10 most picked DPS characters in Honkai Star Rail 2.4 Memory of Chaos:
- Firefly – 81.3%
- Yunli – 74.1%
- Acheron – 64.7%
- Boothill – 62.5%
- Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae – 41.6%
- Topaz & Numby – 39.8%
- Black Swan – 35.8%
- Kafka – 25.6%
- Blade – 17.4%
- Dr. Ratio – 16%
As usual, Firefly is on the top with a whopping 81.3% pick rate. This Stellaron Hunter’s pick rate being this high is quite justifiable as she is one of the meta-defining DPS characters in Honkai Star Rail.
After her release, Yunli has secured a spot in most players’ accounts due to her bringing a fun playstyle into the game. Her follow-up attack-based counterattacks are one of the fun playstyles that exist in this title from HoYoverse. Therefore, Yunli’s pick rate being this high is not surprising.
Acheron is one of the best DPS units in this game, and the reason is predictable with her pick rate of 64.7% in Memory of Chaos. Moreover, Jiaoqiu’s release during the second phase of the patch has boosted this Galaxy Ranger’s usage rate by a significant margin.
Apart from the best meta-defining characters, Boothill, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, and Topaz secured the fourth, fifth, and sixth spots on this list. While Boothill and Topaz’s pick rate seems reasonable, DHIL's (Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae) pick rate has caught some of the Trailblazers off guard as he has been a victim of power creep for a couple of patches.
Moving over to the last couple of spots, Blade is another character whose pick rate is surprisingly higher than the units in the meta. Moreover, it is quite shocking to see Blade beating Dr. Ratio's pick rate in version 2.4 MoC.
