Most used teams in Honkai Star Rail 2.3 Memory of Chaos

With the 2.4 update of Honkai Star Rail running in its early stage, information regarding the most used teams in the Memory of Chaos (MoC) for 2.3 has been made available. This was brought to light by X user @hxg_diluc, who's for sharing similar information for previous updates and suggests popular characters to clear the Memory of Chaos content.

It seems some of the characters most used in the 2.2 MoC have taken a backseat during this update, allowing some newer characters to take the lead. We cover details on the most used team compositions in Memory of Chaos in Honkai Star Rail in version 2.3.

From the past few versions of MoC, the meta seems to shift toward the Weakness Break damage-dealing characters and team compositions that support these units. The gathered information shows that the team of Ruan Mei, Firefly, Trailblazer, and Gallagher were the top choice with a whopping 70% usage rate.

This break damage-dealing team has characters that work extremely well together. While Ruan Mei can increase everyone's Weakness Break Efficiency, Gallagher can boost Weakness Break damage. The abilities of Trailblazer can assist Firefly in dealing Break damage to the enemies.

The Topaz & Numby, Aventurine, Dr. Ratio, and Robin team composition is another top pick, placed second with a usage rate of just over 38%. This team comp excels in dealing follow-up-attack damage.

Dr. Ratio is the main DPS here, who pairs well with Topaz & Numby as she can use her abilities to increase follow-up attack damage. Aventurine is a great support in this team, providing a shield to the entire party and boosting the follow-up attack damage. Robin buffs the entire team while advancing their actions, which allows for more frequent attacks from the team.

Apart from the most popular team compositions, many players picked a few characters constantly in different team compositions, like Aventurine. He seems to appear in most team compositions present here and can provide a strong shield to the entire party while dealing respectable damage to enemies. His shield and damage capabilities can be increased by stacking more DEF on him, which can also make him a tank in case he gets struck by enemies.

Acheron seems to be another popular choice among the players as she appears in almost every team composition. She's a flexible DPS character who can be built in various ways, by mainly focusing on CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG, and Speed. Because of her versatility, she can work well in a variety of team compositions.
