The third week of MPL Singapore Season 8 Week 3 has seen NIP Flash, the defending champions, win two of their three matches scheduled for the week. These two victories have helped them secure 18 of the possible 21 points.

However, the highlight of week three was the clash between NIP Flash and EVIL. In this match, NIP Flash swept EVIL clean with a 2-0 victory over their closest rivals.

Despite a loss that broke the heart of their fans against NIP Flash, EVIL managed to secure the second spot on the league table. This was their highest ever ranking in the Regular Season league table in MPL Singapore Season 8. The team even got compliments from NIP Flash Mid Laner for such a display in the tournament as Jankurt "KurtTzy" Matira said:

"We have prepared a lot to go up against them, especially their imports, because they [EVIL] have played very well in the tournament so far."

Despite EVIL failing to win two of the three matches scheduled for MPL Singapore Season 8 Week 3, they have comfortably secured an upper bracket qualification.

RSG SG have been struggling in MPL Singapore Season 8 from the beginning of the competition. However, they have finally found their form in the third week, as they secured two wins and pulled themselves out of the relegation zone.

They won against BLEED on the first day of the week, and on day two, they defeated HomeBois SG 2-0 to get out of the red zone on the league table.
