The free-to-play fighting game Multiversus has returned after close to a year of inactivity. The title includes many characters from the Warner Bros. universe and is quite enjoyable with different modes and a crossplay feature. Some players have been running into issues when trying to play the game. If you have been getting a "not available in your region" error message when downloading it, there are a multitude of factors to consider.

This piece will explain which regions the free-to-play title is available in.

Multiversus "Not available in your region" error: Which regions can play the game?

Although the title was unavailable in several regions previously as it showed a "Not available in your region" error message, Multiversus is now available in all regions. Some players may already have the game installed from its Open Beta form, but it hasn’t been possible to play it since the middle of 2023 when the servers were turned off.

Now, as it is a live-service game, it was made accessible simultaneously worldwide. However, the release time of the game varies for console and PC platforms. In addition, due to time zone differences, this happened at different times of the day for people in different regions.

PC launch (May 28, 2024)

  • PT: 10 am
  • ET: 1 pm
  • UTC: 5 pm

Console launch (May 28, 2024)

  • PT: 4 am
  • ET: 7 am
  • UTC: 11 am

The game is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam plus Epic Games Store, but you may not be able to immediately join the Multiversus servers. To ensure that there are no server or connection problems, the developers announced that players would be introduced to the game gradually in waves.

It remains uncertain whether this implies the game will be introducing players by regions or through a selection of those who come first. Nevertheless, the developers mentioned that they would provide updates to players on the official X account for Multiversus.

Multiversus is now available in the SEA region

If you tried participating in the Open Beta of the title previously but could not enter the game upon launch, this was likely because the game wasn't available in your regions.

Now that the game has officially launched, it is now accessible in the majority of regions—a notable development for SEA players who can now procure the game. Moreover, the servers have many players available and due to its cross-platform feature, you can get into multiplayer matches instantly.
