Okay okay, hear me out first. This might be true.

Why you may ask. Well, Naughty Dog loves making a trilogy.

Look at Jax And Daxter, Crash Bandicoot, even Uncharted. Well technically Uncharted have 6 games (including the Uncharted: Golden Abyss) but you get the point right?

Naughty Dog doesn't like letting go of their franchises, in other words, they are always very septical about making a new IP which they themselves confirmed.

Naughty Dog didn't expect The Last Of Us to receive widespread critical acclaim, in fact, they expected this game to fail miserably. But it didn't and here we were eagerly waiting for the next one.

I can't say The Last Of Us part 3 have to feature Joel and Ellie but isn't there the slightest possibility that Naughty Dog would just abandon such a gem of IP just like that?

The Last Of Us Part 2 is yet to get a release date or a release window. The latest "Coming Attractions" video from PlayStation Europe might have hinted a 2019 release but we can't say anything yet. Naughty Dog is definitely going to take their time with this one because this game is undoubtedly the most anticipated title for the PS4.

Whatever is coming after The Last Of Us Part 2 is obviously being made for the next generation of the console so don't expect any announcement anytime soon.
