#3 Luka Doncic
By making Giannis Antentokounmpo the cover athlete of NBA 2K19, 2K showed that they aren't averse to making foreign stars the face of their game.
They could go the same route this time around as well and put Luka Doncic on the cover. Doncic got his NBA career off to a great start, averaging over 20 points per game in the regular season.

He is the runaway favourite to win the Rookie of the Year award and is expected to be an All-Star for many years to come.
#4 James Harden
Arguably the frontrunner for regular season MVP, James Harden posted astonishing numbers over the course of the season.
Harden averaged 36 points per game in the regular season, but was unable to inspire his Houston side in the playoffs as they once again fell to the Warriors in the Conference semifinals.
Harden is associated with EA - he was on the cover of NBA Live 18 - and that might count against him. However, he remains one of the most recognisable and marketable athletes in the sport and should definitely be in the running.
