The highly anticipated return of the iconic Train map in CS2 finally happened, and the community is beyond excited. It was added to the game with the November 14, 2024 patch, which includes some major changes to Overpass and four new community maps. Valve hinted at Train's return at various times — changing the X account banner for the first time in years and posting captions with hidden messages.
The revamped Train version features the same map size and elements with a few visual additions. Players took no time to find easter eggs across the map and started sharing them through social media. Here's how to see one of the most interesting and nostalgic easter eggs in Counter-Strike 2.

As seen in the post by @cs2newsupdate on X, players can find a hidden television inside a control room which can only be accessed using Ghost Mode in Practice Mode — cannot be done in a normal match. To find this room, go to the B site from T spawn and you will find a closed door in the right corner.
Once you enter the room, you can see an old television that shows screenshots of the original map design from 2014. This minor yet interesting easter egg is sure to give nostalgia to Counter-Strike veterans who have been playing the game since the release of Global Offensive.

How to enable Ghost Mode in CS2
Here's a stepwise guide to enable Ghost Mode in Counter-Strike 2 Practice Mode to find interesting easter eggs:
- Open the in-game console by clicking the ~ button below Esc.
- Type sv_cheats true and hit enter.
- Now enter Practice Mode and select the desired map.
- Type bind *ANY BUTTON YOU WANT* noclip and hit enter.
You now have Ghost Mode turned on in Counter-Strike 2. The button you have entered in the bind noclip command will work as an enable and disable switch to fly across the map and phase through walls.
It is to be noted that you cannot do this in any normal game mode such as Casual, Competitive, or Premier. Trying to forcefully enable this during a public match could result in a VAC ban on your Steam profile.
