With the game now being available on pre-order, EA Sports has revealed the new EA FC 25 Heroes that will be part of the benefits provided to those who purchase the game before August 20. The developers have introduced a brand new card type for fans to add to their starting rosters on launch day itself, with the item receiving an upgrade later on in the game cycle.
The items provided at the start of the game will be called Origin Heroes, and will be upgraded to their Prime version automatically on November 28. While the list does include Yaya Toure, who was already a part of the roster in EA FC 24, there are 13 new EA FC 25 Heroes for gamers to get their hands on. This includes the legendary Belgian attacker and former Premier League star, Eden Hazard.
Eden Hazard spearheads the lineup of new EA FC 25 Heroes
The pre-order benefits for EA FC's Ultimate Edition are always worth the extra expenses, as they provide gamers with an edge over the competition. With how overpowered Heroes are on the virtual pitch, especially due to the chemistry perks they provide, having one of the new EA FC 25 Heroes at the start of the game will prove to be a massive advantage.

While the ratings for the regular versions of these new EA FC 25 Heroes are yet to be revealed, EA Sports has released the overall ratings of their pre-order versions. Gamers will receive one of these Origin Hero items on the day of the launch itself:
- Celia Sasic: 88
- Eden Hazard: 86
- Maicon: 86
- Ze Roberto: 86
- Jamie Carragher: 86
- Guti: 86

- Laura Georges: 85

While these cards will be very useful at the start of the game cycle with these ratings alone, they will be upgraded to their Prime versions on November 28. Not only will they receive a massive boost to their overall rating and stats, but they will also have a brand new and exciting dynamic image showcasing them as a superhero, similar to Marvel Heroes in FIFA 23.
These are the prime version ratings of the new EA FC 25 Heroes:
- Celia Sasic: 91
- Eden Hazard: 90
- Maicon: 90
- Ze Roberto: 90
- Jamie Carragher: 90
- Guti: 90
- Williams: 90
- Yaya Toure: 89
- Laura Georges: 89
- Blaise Matuide: 89
- Mohammed Noor: 89
- Tim Howard: 89

- Jaap Stam: 89
While the idea of Eden Hazard being a Hero instead of an Icon has been met with mixed reviews, gamers will still be pleased to have the former Real Madrid and Chelsea attacker back in Ultimate Team.
