New game announced based on the movie Friday the 13th

Crystal Lake Entertainment have taken up the cause of bringing to life the new game on the block which is based on the successful horror movie “Friday the 13th “. The movie which featured the famous mask wearing , hockey goalie Jason Voorhees is the inspiration behind the game which is also titled “Friday the 13th” . The game is being created as a multiplayer game which intends to create a co-operative and competitive environment, where small groups of players will team as the “survivors“ and a single player will play the role of the intimidating slasher antagonist.

CEO of Crystal Lake Entertainment Sean S Cunningham, who is also the creator of the original movie disclosed in a announcement that with the release of the TV series based on the movie and also the establishment of the franchise of the film, the timing was accurate to start the work on the game and explore the world of Jason and come up with the best ideas that will help them in delivering the expected thrill to the fans with plenty of value. Although we do not know for sure which organisation has taken up this project but Cunnigham has shared that it is a experienced studio that is developing the game. The game is expected to arrive this year.
