New Genshin Impact Fatui Harbinger trailer expected in January 2025, as per leaks

Recent Genshin Impact leaks have hinted at the possibility of a new Fatui Harbinger trailer. The first Fatui Harbinger teaser titled "A Winter Night's Lazzo" was released in July 2022. While some Fatui Harbingers have been featured in the main Genshin Impact story since then, there hasn't been another trailer dedicated solely to them. The leaks, however, seem to suggest otherwise, as they point towards another upcoming Fatui Harbinger teaser that will be released soon.

Genshin Impact leaks hint at upcoming Fatui Harbinger teaser video

A leak shared by an anonymous user on the Chinese social media site Weibo, and later reposted by well-known leaker hxg_diluc on his Telegram channel, says that a new Fatui Harbinger teaser video might be in the works. This leak suggests that HoYovers will supposedly release a new video involving the Fatui Harbingers on January 15, 2025.

As per the leak, the content of this video will focus on the remaining Fatui Harbingers meeting up, and Harbinger No. 3 Columbina taking over Capitano's mission of seizing the Pyro Gnosis.

The Genshin Impact 5.3 Natlan Archon Quest brought down the curtains on the story of Natlan's war with the Abyss. The story of Fatui Harbinger Capitano also ended after he met his demise. This marked the second time we saw a Fatui Harbinger succumbing to death, with the first being La Signora.

After La Signora's death in the Inazuma Archon Quest, HoYoverse released the "A Winter Night's Lazzo" trailer. In it, we saw the Fatui Harbingers assembling to mourn their fellow Harbinger's death. Now, with yet another Harbinger passing away, it seems likely that we might see the remaining Harbingers meeting up once again to mourn their fallen comrade.

The overarching plot of Genshin Impact involves the Tsaritsa — the Archon of Snezhnaya — collecting all the Gnoses from the remaining six Archons for an unknown purpose. So far, the Anemo, Geo, Electro, Dendro, and Hydro Gnoses have already made their way into the Tsaritsa's hands.

While Capitano had been entrusted with taking the Pyro Gnosis from Pyro Archon Mavuika, his death meant that he wasn't able to complete the mission.

Under such circumstances, the leak involving Columbina taking over Capitano's mission of bringing the Pyro Gnosis to the Tsaritsa might actually hold some merit. Regardless, players will have to wait and see if HoYoverse will be releasing a teaser video involving the Fatui Harbingers, as predicted.
