New Genshin Impact Natlan leak disappoints Fatui Harbinger fans

The main story of Natlan is in full swing, with the upcoming version 5.3 all set to draw a finale on the exhilarating series of Archon Quests. Meanwhile, leaks regarding future versions keep surfacing. While leaks are always welcome in the Genshin Impact community, a recent leak regarding the playable status of certain characters in Natlan has left the player base rather disappointed. According to this leak, the nation of Natlan will not feature any playable Fatui Harbingers.

No playable Fatui Harbinger in Natlan, according to leaks

Recent leaks from Tieba Uncle 111 (reposted on X by very credible leaker hxg_diluc) have disclosed that there will not be any playable Fatui Harbingers in any of the Natlan patches. This means that there might be no new playable Harbinger till the end of Natlan, which is around July/August 2025.

This new leak has disappointed the entire Genshin Impact playerbase, most of whom had been looking forward to a playable Capitano in Natlan. Considering the involvement and screentime Capitano has in the Natlan Archon Quests, it really did seem likely that he would be featured as a playable character in one of the upcoming patches.

So far, only three of the 11 Fatui Harbingers have been released as playable characters: Tartaglia, Wanderer (Scaramouche), and Arlecchino. Rumors and speculations regarding the release of the other Harbingers have long since been discussed by the fanbase, even though there is still no official confirmation regarding their playability.

Some players believe that the other Harbingers, including Capitano, are being saved for the region of Snezhnaya, which will be out next year. However, even if that is the case, there are still too many Harbingers, and it would probably not be possible to release all of them together in the Snezhnaya patches. In that case, many would still be unplayable, which could either mean that they would be released much later in the Khaenri'ah/Celestia chapters, or that they will never be playable at all.

This is still mere speculation, and players will have to wait for more information from HoYoverse to confirm which Fatui Harbinger(s) will be playable, and when.
