New update announced for Final Fantasy XV demo

Final Fantasy XV demo update is expected to arrive sometime in May

A new update will soon be available for the Final Fantasy XV demo. The update will include a lot of new features and combat tweaks which should improve the demo’s gameplay. The announcement for the update was made on the latest Active Time Report.

A user on NeoGAF has managed to translate the entire announcement, and it includes an improved targeting system, new features like dodge rolls and more. This seems like a good reason to play the Final Fantasy XV demo once again.

The update will include the following changes:

• AXB enhancements
• Improved camera and targeting system
• Additional combat actions and overall rebalancing, more joint attacks
• Combat tweaks like MP usage, etc. More range of action for each weapon
• Add dodge rolls

Square Enix also has plans improve the demo’s framerate by making it full HD. The demo was not even 1080p when it released back in March. They might even add a feature which allows players in a party to split up and quest. However, these are just suggestions and Square Enix has stated that if they cannot add these changes on the next update, then they will implement it in the final game.

The demo update is expected to release sometime in May. A short new trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy XV will be revealed at the next E3.
