SingStar Ultimate Party will be getting an update today that should hopefully fix some of the issues the game has been facing. Sony has announced on its SingStar facebook page that the update is expected to release later today. Players have noted crashes and other issues with the game and this update should hopefully fix that. The update will improve the games stability on the PS4 and PS3. A new fix has also been added which will allow the player to hear themselves over the microphone. Other small bugs that players have been facing will be also be fixed with this update.

But thats not all, Sony has also stated that SingStar Ultimate Party and the free app for PS3 will be getting more updates in the weeks to come. Sony is already working on a second update which should be out by December. This update will have more bug fixes and will also bring back some features that were removed from the previous game, such as the “Pass-The-Mic” mode and other multipayer modes. This is good news for players who have been upset with these modes being removed and also shows that Sony has been taking players opinions into account.

The game will also be getting some new songs and song packs, this includes the original PS3 app. The update will also include a new feature that will allow you to transfer your PS3 songs over to the PS4 version. So players who are already bored of the current selection of songs will now have a new set to choose from.
