New update now available for Xbox One and Xbox 360 versions of Minecraft

A new update is now available for Minecraft , according to 4J Studios. But this is only for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms. So PS3, PS4 and Vita users will have to wait a while before they get the update, which 4J Studios did not specify but said should be arriving ‘soon’. Hopefully it arrives in a few days.

The delay could be due to Microsoft’s recent purchase of Minecraft (for a staggering 2.5 billion dollars). So it’s likely that the Xbox platforms will get the first preference over other platforms from now on, at least in terms of updates.The latest update will include a lot of new items such as Weighted Pressure Plates, Activator Rails and much more to aid with your mining adventures.

The game will now have new mobs as well like Wither Skeletons, Bats, Horses, Mules, Witches, Donkeys and Withers. Besides the mobs and new items, the update will also include new terrain generation features, fireworks and a few tweaks.
