Call of Duty player Doug "Censor" has been banned from Twitch days after a clip of him saying the N-word started doing the rounds on social media. Moreover, the streamer recently made the news after saying a homophobic slur and posted an apology clip on X, formerly Twitter. While esports personalities and fans welcomed his apology last week, the news of his ban after back-to-back incidents has caused many to troll Doug.
The news of Censor's ban was reported by Streamerbans bot on X and has garnered a lot of attention, with a couple of fans saying they knew a suspension from Twitch was coming due to his recent actions on camera. Here are some of the general reactions from X.

Censor banned after saying a couple of slurs on his Twitch stream within a matter of days
Censor has been embroiled in a number of controversies over his career. However, within the last week, he has made two major blunders by using offensive slurs, which is a direct violation of Twitch's terms of service. As mentioned before, last week, on October 17, the streamer took to X and apologized for using the homophobic F-word while having a heated exchange with a supposed cheater.
Doug's recent Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 streams have all been about him trying to expose cheaters in the multiplayer lobbies. So much so that there is a cheater count on the bottom of his screen to keep track. A couple of days ago, he ran into a streamer and started questioning them about using in-game cheats.
During the heated exchange, Censor was repeating what the supposed cheater was telling him when he slipped up yet again and repeated the N-word. Much like the F-word incident a few days ago, the streamer immediately apologized, saying:
"Oh my god, I am going to get canceled again, dude. I am literally repeating what this guy said, I am so sorry guys. This is not what I am trying to do, I am stooping to their level and I hate myself for this. "
He went on to apologize to his fans:
"I am so sorry guys, I am literally cringing at myself. Dude, Jesus f*cking Christ man, why do these guys do this, bro honestly! Guys, I am not trying to do this..."
Regardless, it appears that Twitch has taken action against Censor. Fans can take solace in that the ban should not be for long as the disclaimer on his channel states that it will be temporarily unavailable.
