Astralis signs star player cadiaN, new CS2 roster revealed

In the latest turn of events, Astralis has signed CS2 star cadiaN as part of its professional CS2 roster ahead of BLAST Premier Fall Final 2024. With the addition of cadiaN as the team's IGL, Astralis now has a full-blown Danish roster including dev1ce, Staehr, stavn, jabbi, and the new IGL himself. The player was signed after the benching of br0 on September 17, 2024.

Astralis signs cadiaN as new IGL

Astralis signing cadiaN may come as a surprise to many but the organization has been working towards creating an all-Danish roster from the onset. Furthermore, cadiaN also addressed how his rivalry with the organization may lead fans to believe there is some kind of personal grudge. However, for the IGL, the competition is what makes him better:

"I know some fans may feel I've had 'beef' with Astralis, but actually, I've faced similarly fierce rivalries with other teams and players too. My intense winning mentality has always driven me to push boundaries, and these rivalries have only made me stronger over the years."

The player parted ways with Team Liquid after an agreement and is now a part of the Astralis roster with immediate effect.

Casper 'cadiaN' Møller had worked with Team Liquid for the better part of a year after he was acquired from Heroic on December 6, 2024. Back then, he was an IGL known for his commanding presence but TL admitted in an X post that its time with the player was not as expected.
