After Season 7 ends, Battlefield will do away with the regular season-based system. Instead, old and new events will grace the game. Popular events such as the Arkangel Directive and Leviathan Rising will make a comeback — the latter is returning to the game in late July 2024.

Furthermore, new Battlefield 2042 events will also be added to the game. These will involve unique gameplay, an event pass, and more. The first of the newer events will be released around Halloween 2024.

Apart from the events, Battlefield will see Vault Drops. These have been described as multi-week moments where players can unlock new content in All-Out Warfare. As part of these events, the developers have promised to bring Battlefield Portal vehicles for players to enjoy.

Vault Drops will also allow players to unlock new and exciting hardware that will come with Mastery, Attachments, and Universal Skins.

Finally, the Community Calander will continue to receive regular updates, through which players will get weekly playlists and new content. When it comes to Portal Highlights and Friday Night Battlefield, these will continue to be part of the game after Battlefield Season 7 ends.
