Supercell has recently released an update on the ongoing bug with the Streak event in Clash of Clans on its social media handles. For those unaware, this bug is preventing players from receiving the event's second task's rewards. Apologizing for the inconvenience, Supercell has assured its team is working on a fix and will soon come up with one. However, many players are still concerned that they will lose their progress in the Streak event.

The ongoing Clash of Clans Streak event features seven tasks; each must be completed in a day. In this manner, players must consecutively finish one task for seven days, maintaining a streak and claiming a reward for each task's completion. However, upon finishing the second task in the event, players aren't being rewarded. This could likely be happening because of a technical error in the game codes.
This bug was first highlighted on June 20, 2024, when some players didn't receive their reward upon completing the second assigned task in the Streak event. This resulted in many players getting worried that they would lose their progress and must start over with their streak.
Commenting on this issue, Supercell has tweeted on their X account, assuring that they are working on the bug fix and are in the last stage of testing it, which will be subsequently deployed, most likely on June 26, 2024 (tomorrow).
As of this writing, despite the time the Streak event bug has wasted, Supercell won't be able to extend the event, as the developer doesn't wish to risk any further bugs in the future until a few tests have been performed. However, as compensation, players will receive a Star Bonus x2, which doubles their loot earned from multiplayer attacks.
The Star Bonus x2 will be availalbe from June 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM (EEST) to July 1, 2024, 11:00 AM (EEST).
