Ahead of the Esports World Cup in July 2024, NA powerhouse Cloud9 rejoined the Rainbow Six Siege esports scene by collaborating with Beastcoast, the champion of R6 Manchester Major. Both American organizations have formed a partnership in order to restore the former glory of the North American Rainbow Six Siege scene.
In a recent X post, Cloud9 released a short video announcing their collaboration alongside the re-entry of the fallen gem in the R6 esports scene. This article will discuss some of the key points of this collaboration and what might be the future steps of this collaboration.
Cloud9 rejoins Rainbow 6 Siege ahead of Esports World Cup

The North American powerhouse, Cloud9 had a dry run in the R6 esports scene with their former SEA roster during 2021. Hence, they had to disband the team and parted ways with the R6 competitive scene. However, recently they announced their collaboration with another American org named Beastcoast, ahead of the Riyadh Esports World Cup 2024 in July.
Beastcoast had a stellar run in their 2024 R6 esports journey so far, winning both the North American League (A-Tier) and BLAST R6 Major Manchester (S-Tier). Hence, the NA powerhouse took this opportunity to strengthen the foundation to get access to the Esports World Cup.
The Saudi Esports Federation is yet to reveal the full list of teams participating in the prestigious tournament, but joint ownership with a Major winning team will surely help Cloud9 restore their former glory in the R6 esports scene.
With the much-awaited collaboration with the Manchester Major winner, the Cloud9 x Beastcoast roster will look something like this:
