Day 1 of the COD Mobile World Championship 2024 was held on October 4, 2024. A total of 16 teams played in the Swiss System format in the initial stage. The top eight teams from the overall rankings have booked their spots in the Playoffs, while the bottom eight have been knocked out.

Qualified teams for COD Mobile World Championship 2024 Playoffs

Here are the eight teams that have made it to the Playoffs:

3. Qing Jiu Club
4. Stalwart Esports
5. Luminosity Gaming
6. Galorys Company
7. GodLike Esports
8. Wolves

XROCK performed phenomenally during their three matches, with the Chinese club winning all their encounters in style. The team didn’t lose a single round on Day 1 and ranked first in the overall scoreboard. They hammered Ancient Gaming, Four Magic, and the Wolves.

Elevate, who recently won the CODM Summer Invitational, also had an excellent start as they clinched all three matches and placed second on the table. The Filipino squad defeated GodLike, Qing Jiu Club, and Stalwart Esports.

The Qing Jiu Club from China came third in the overall leaderboard, with three wins and one loss. Stalwart Esports from the Philippines finished fourth, with three wins and one loss. Popular North American club Luminosity Gaming claimed the fifth position and Glorys Company came in sixth.

India's GodLike Esports had a disappointing start but managed to bounce back with three wins and two losses, ensuring a spot in the Playoffs. Wolves, the reigning World Champions, had to work hard to make it to the next stage.

India's Team Vitality stumbled in the initial stage and couldn't reach the Playoffs. Tribe Gaming, the COD Mobile World Championship 2022 winner, also failed to qualify for the next phase.
