COD Mobile World Championship 2024: Winners, prize pool distribution, and highlights 

Filipino club Elevate dominated the COD Mobile World Championship 2024 to become champions after defeating China’s Qing Jiu Club in the Grand Finals on October 6, 2024. Elevate, who did not lose a single match throughout the tournament, was awarded a huge cash prize of $400,000. This was around 40% of the total prize pool.

The COD Mobile World Championship 2024 was organized from October 4, 2024 to October 6, 2024 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, United States. It was held in two phases; the Swiss Stage and the Playoffs. A total of 16 teams from around the world fought for a whopping prize pool of $1 million.

Qing Jiu Club had a decent run in their initial encounters but stumbled completely in the Grand Finals and ended their campaign in second place. The Chinese club received $170,000 in prize money.

XROCK had an outstanding start to the tournament, with the Chinese team being table toppers during the initial stage. They also began the Playoffs in style after defeating Team GodLike in their first match. However, they lost to Qing Jiu in the Semifinals and walked away with a cash prize of $80,000.

Galorys from Brazil also had a great run against Luminosity Gaming in their first match of the Playoffs, but the team lost their rhythm against Elevate. The Brazilian squad secured $80,000 in prize money.

India's Team GodLike couldn't keep up with expectations in the Playoffs and lost their battle to XROCK. GodLike had finished second in the 2023 edition of the COD Mobile World Championship.

Stalwart Esports from the Philippines and Luminosity Gaming also lost their initial matches in the Playoffs. Wolves Esports, who was the world champion in 2023, failed to deliver impressive performances this year. The Chinese club was outplayed by Elevate in the Playoffs.

The bottom eight teams of the World Championship 2024, were eliminated during the Swiss Stage. Many top lineups like India's Team Vitality and Tribe Gaming failed to perform as expected in the tournament.
