FaZe Clan has become a prominent name in CS2 esports, known for its multiple top placements in high-tier tournaments. The organisation recently faced a pivotal change as Robin "ropz" Kool announced his departure, right after FaZe's second place in the Shanghai Major 2024. With ropz, FaZe Clan had achieved various milestones in Counter-Strike esports, including the PGL Antwerp 2022 Major.
Recently, the FaZe Clan Esports channel on YouTube shared a funny video that featured Temperr, one of the organization's co-founders, introducing Jonathan "ELiGE" Jablowski as its new player to complete the roster.

ELiGE joins CS2 FaZe Clan roster to replace ropz
The video features Temperr and Kaysan discussing how they need a "bald player" to increase their chances of winning the Counter-Strike 2 Major. In the end, the video shows ELiGE searching for jobs when he stumbles upon an ad requiring a Counter-Strike player who is both good and bald. The funny clip ends with ELiGE making a call.
The new FaZe Clan CS2 roster looks like this:
- Håvard "rain" Nygaard
- Finn "karrigan" Andersen
- Helvijs "broky" Saukants
- David "frozen" Čerňanský
- Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski
Jonathan "ELiGE" Jablowski is a seasoned player who brings a wealth of experience to FaZe Clan. He has been active in the Counter-Strike competitive scene since 2014 and has played for teams like Team Liquid, Complexity Gaming, and eLevate. However, the majority of his achievements have been in CS:GO. His CS2 run for Complexity Gaming has not been that impressive, since it comes with no S-tier wins and only a few playoff qualifications.
Nevertheless, EliGE's addition to the FaZe Clan roster is expected to strengthen the lineup. Fans would be eager to see how this will impact the team's results in upcoming tournaments, and whether or not the "bald buff" will actually lead them to another major victory. The new team will play together for the first time at IEM Katowice 2025, which begins on January 29, 2025.
