David Beckham’s GUILD Esports invited to PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024 Grand Finals

GUILD Esports, co-owned by football legend David Beckham, has directly been invited to the Grand Finals of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2024 as the host nation team. The Grand Finale is scheduled to be played from December 6 to 8, 2024 at the Excel Auditorium in London. A prize pool of $3 million is up for grabs in the mega tournament.

The PMGC 2024 will feature 49 teams from around the globe. The League Stage of the Championship will kick off on October 31, where 48 teams will compete for 15 spots in the Grand Finals. This will be the fifth iteration of the Global Championship. The previous edition was won by Mongolia's IHC Esports.

PUBG Mobile partners with GUILD Esports ahead of PMGC 2024

GUILD Esports partnered with PUBG Mobile on September 14, 2024. The organization also revealed its six-man roster. The team will aim to achieve a respectable spot in the upcoming PMGC.

The following is the GUILD Esports’ lineup:

Yasin "Azer" Yigit is an experienced PUBG Mobile player as he has been competing in the scene for more than five years. He was previously associated with Shockwave. He was a member of Team QLASH, when the club won the PMCO Spring Split 2021 France.

Andrei "EXO" Dumitru is also a renowned player and has played for some well-known teams in the past four years. He previously played for 4 Romanian Boys, Nexus, and Titan Gaming. He has competed in many majors like PMCO and PMPL.

Gegenotgg, Jakey, Wagnerzada, and Zero are rising talents. They will have a great opportunity to display their gaming skills against top-tier teams in the prestigious Global Championship 2024. Morgan is the head coach of the lineup, while Woudu is the Analyst.

PUBG Mobile has already revealed the slot distribution for the upcoming PMGC. Many regional tournaments are currently underway, where teams are fighting for a spot in the Championship. The publisher will disclose the name of a special invited team for the event in October next month.

So far, 11 out of the total 49 teams have been confirmed for the Global Championship 2024. This is the first time that a major PUBG Mobile tournament will be organized in the United Kingdom. The organizer will reveal the complete details like schedule, prize pool distribution, and format of the event in the coming days.
