As detailed in the official X post above, the version 1.25 update for DayZ is live - but only for PCs at the moment. The tweet was shortly followed by a reply that confirmed the delay of the update for consoles.
As of the time of writing this article, the DayZ console update is no longer scheduled to be released on May 28, 2024. Due to multiple issues such as optimization and the Livonia merger, the team has decided to delay the update indefinitely for consoles.
An estimated release window for the update should be out by tomorrow.
The delay of the DayZ console update is rather unfortunate, with many calling the developer out for “favoritism” with regards to PC releases. Regardless, there is not much else to do other than wait for the patch to be released for both Xbox and PlayStation platforms.
