Black Hawk Down campaign revealed at Summer Game Fest 2024
In Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest 2024, a new gameplay image from the game's campaign was revealed. Delta Force Hawk Ops' campaign is called Black Hawk Down, and it is a retelling of Delta operations from the OG game. The campaign will take players to Mogadishu, Somalia, and will be based on the "classic storyline." Furthermore, Delta Force Hawk Ops will also bring back some of the iconic characters from the franchise.
It seems like the developers have changed certain mechanics that were seen in the previously released gameplay footage, and the game's multiplayer is also leaning more toward tactical gameplay than arcade gameplay. There will be two different multiplayer modes in Delta Force Hawk Ops. While Hazard Operations focuses on strategic gameplay, Havoc Warfare will be a large combat experience with vehicle warfare.
