Supercell took to Twitter to warn players regarding using the Clash Royale duplicate and special cards exploit, stating that it might lead to account suspension. This occurrence just happens to be among the many that the game has witnessed over the years. There have been countless instances of Clash Royale players exploiting glitches and weird bugs which often hand them insane powers and abilities.

As the name suggests, the duplicate and special cards exploit lets players duplicate cards on the battlefield. It also lets you use special cards from past events. For instance, Super Archers, Santa Hog Rider, Super Magic Archer, and other super cards (special cards) can be used in regular game modes.

Players can easily exploit this to have the upper hand in battles, and this goes against the terms and conditions of Clash Royale. So, a strict punishment has been imposed by the developer, as, using the Clash Royale duplicate and special cards exploit can get your account suspended.
The tenure of the suspension was not specified in the official post addressing the issue, but it might be an indefinite suspension since you would be deliberately using the glitch to cause inconvenience to other players.
So, it is advisable to stay away from this exploit and let Supercell do its thing to get it out of the game.
