"Don't mention my daughter's name" - Kanye West goes off at Kai Cenat and calls the Twitch star an "industry plant"

On April 23, 2024, a 47-second clip featuring Kanye West went viral, in which he talked about Twitch star Kai Cenat. The video was taken from the most recent episode of The Download podcast, where the Grammy Award-winning musician expressed his displeasure with Kai Cenat for mentioning his daughter, North West.

While referring to the two-time Streamer of the Year award winner as an "industry plant," Kanye West remarked:

"...On the wrong side of the future. If you're posting something negative, you're on the wrong side of the future because, you know, we're out here, stepping away from Adidas. Like, the s**t that Kai said - that's some industry plant s**t. Of course, he's a total f**king... that exact genre is the most industry plant. It's about, like, influence and mind control."

The rapper and singer-songwriter added:

"And then he's got to mention my daughter's name a week later. That's like, n***a, don't mention my daughter's name, and then you're dissing what's paying a $200,000 a month child support."

During a March 2024 livestream, Kai Cenat claimed North West described him as her "favorite streamer." Expressing his delight at the situation, the New Yorker stated:
