With the worldwide release of EA FC 25 approaching rapidly, EA Sports has released the official list of the top 25 highest-rated men in the game. These are the elite-tier athletes who are regarded as the best in the world in their respective positions, and their ratings will help them be overpowered on the virtual pitch as well.
With Real Madrid being the reigning Champions League and La Liga champions, it comes as no surprise that their players are prominently featured on this list. Their latest star signing Kylian Mbappe is amongst the highest-rated names in the game with an overall rating of 91, retaining his position from the previous title.

Not only does the latter have more players in the top 25, they also have two 91-rated players in the upcoming title, with Erling Haaland and Rodri joining Kylian Mbappe at the top of the roster.

With Jude Bellingham being the cover star of EA FC 25 after his stunning debut season for Los Blancos, his +4 overall upgrade seems warranted. The English superstar has an overall rating of 90 in the latest title, similar to his teammate Vinicius Junior, who has also earned a +1 upgrade from last year.
These are the highest-rated men in-game:
The most notable upgrades have been awarded to the likes of Jude Bellingham (+4), Phil Foden (+3) and Antonio Rudiger (+3). Lautaro Martinez (+2) has also earned a well-deserved upgrade after his golden boot-winning efforts in both the Serie A and COPA America competitions. Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard (+2) has also continued his trend of receiving consistent upgrades over the years.
Amongst the downgraded players, Lionel Messi (-2) and Robert Lewandowski (-2) have been affected the most. Both players were 90-rated in the previous title, but have an overall rating of 88 in EA FC 25. While this is not indicative of how effective they will be on the virtual pitch, their decline with age is apparent in the overall ratings in-game.
The likes of Kevin de Bruyne (-1), Thibaut Courtois (-1), and Ruben Dias (-1) have also received lower ratings compared to EA FC 24, but their downgrades can be attributed to them missing most of last season due to injuries.
