With EA Sports revealing the top 25 highest-rated EA FC 25 players from the top French division in the world of club football, gamers are sure to be curious to know who the best Ligue 1 players are. Although PSG has suffered in terms of star power with their talismanic superstar Kylian Mbappe leaving in the summer, the league still possesses some very impressive overall ratings.
As the reigning champions and dominant force in Ligue 1, it comes as no surprise that PSG is prominently featured in the list of highest-rated EA FC 25 players as well. However, the discrepancy between their athletes and the rest of the league is rather surprising, with the first non-PSG player on the top 25 roster being the 82-rated Alexandre Lacazette.

With the likes of Lionel Messi, Neymar, and now Kylian Mbappe leaving PSG to join other clubs outside of France, the overall strength and appeal of Ligue 1 has certainly dwindled over the years. While the impressive ranks of PSG alone bolster the league's overall ratings in EA FC 25, fans were hoping for more significant upgrades for players from other clubs as well.

Despite being amazing for Lyon last season and competing for the Golden Boot, Alexandre Lacazette is only 82-rated in the latest title. Similarly, players like Aleksandr Golovin from AS Monaco and Jonathan David from Lille have also not received the boost they arguably deserved after their performances in the previous campaign.

The PSG lineup in itself is a mixed bag of upgrades and downgrades. The most significant boost has been provided to Vitinha, with his performances for the club and the Portuguese national side earning him a +5 upgrade. Warren Zaire-Emery has also earned a +6 upgrade and is now 80-rated in EA FC 25. However, Marco Asensio (-2), Randal Kolo Muani (-2), and Milan Skriniar (-4) have all been downgraded.
Most of the other notable upgrades for Ligue 1 players are scattered across various clubs, which is not surprising considering PSG's dominance over the last decade. However, the arrival of new players like Wilfried Zaha, who joined Lyon from Galatasaray, will provide gamers with more options while building squads in EA FC 25.
