Everybody likes a teacher who inculcates fun things during class. The popularity of Twitch streamers seems to have made them viable options to get the attention of kids.

In the viral clip, the teacher used cutouts of AMP members Kai Cenat, Duke Dennis, and Fanum to explain subtraction. The question that she wrote on the board essentially asked the students to subtract 18 from 22.

The teacher made it so that Kai Cenat and Duke Dennis had 22 chocolate bars and explained the subtraction part by saying Fanum was coming to "tax it".

She actually used the meme word as well, telling the kids:

"He Fanum taxes them, so he is coming to take away their snacks, okay?"

For those who are unaware, 'Fanum Tax' is a viral meme in Twitch circles that alludes to the fact that Fanum always takes a bite (or two) out of food belonging to other content creators. It is a running joke that has gained widespread attention from the younger generation of internet users.

While it is not unlike a "food tax" that friends and family employ to get a bite of food from others, the term Fanum Tax is a legitimate internet slang employed by various online personalities. The fact that an elementary school teacher used it in a math class has naturally amused many people.

As the video went on, the teacher kept invoking names of the Twitch streamers while interacting with the class, talking about Kai Cenat and Duke Dennis' snacks. The students responded to the tactic well, as they could be heard answering their teacher in unison.

It's not hard to see why many viewers commended the innovative way the teacher held the kids' attention.
