Choo Choo Charles developers 2 Star Games revealed Cuff Bust at Summer Game Fest 2024. The adorable but ridiculous game had a world premiere trailer during the video game event, showing off what looked like adorable bears doing anything it took to break out of a prison. This included throwing dynamite, interrupting other bears in the shower, and so much more.
While it doesn’t have a release date, it promises to bring something new to the “escape” subgenre of video games. It easily won people over during Summer Game Fest, with many responses getting excited on social media. Here’s what you need to know about Cuff Bust.

In Cuff Bust, players control one of up to 20 Jailiens, doing their best to get past the guards and live their best life away from the prison. They can hack into terminals, use screwdrivers to batter away screws and climb through air ducts, and throw soap at their enemies, all in the name of breaking free.
Perhaps the most interesting thing is that it’s a group game of 20 players. These are not sophisticated criminals, so the “hacking” consists of mashing their faces on keyboards and slapping a screwdriver against a screw to “open” the ducts.
They can even hurl sticks of dynamite at riot guards to stop them from pursuing. The end of the trailer showed the Jailiens resting on the beach, smoking, and relaxing, once they had taken off in the helicopter. Sadly, it has no release date, but it can be wishlisted on Steam.
