F1 24 driver ratings officially revealed

Codemasters and EA Sports' latest racing simulation title, F1 24, is scheduled to be released in just a couple of days, with early access for Champion's Edition owners already live on all platforms. With the game's looming release date and early access launch, the F1 driver ratings have been officially revealed by EA Sports and Codemasters.

F1 24 is easily one of the most anticipated games of 2024, especially for racing fans. Given there are few racing titles coming out this year, it's not surprising that fans of the genre are looking forward to the latest F1 title.

Another major reason why fans are looking forward to Codemasters' F1 game is due to the host of changes it brings to the table with the latest iteration. Among the many new elements is the revamped career mode, which allows players to start their F1 career as one of the racing icons.

As such, keeping track of the driver ratings for each of the icons that players will have the option to choose when starting the career mode is a great way to get a headstart. That being said, here's a look at the driver ratings in F1 24.

Unsurprisingly for fans of F1, Max Verstappen is leading the chart with a driver rating of 96, followed by Fernando Alonso (92), Carlos Sainz Jr. (89), Charles Leclerc (89), Lando Norris (89), and Lewis Hamilton (89). The chart also mentions details on all the different stats that each driver comes with, giving an outlook of their respective strengths and weaknesses.

Alongside the driver ratings, the chart also gives a score for each of the driver stats - Racecraft, Experience, Pace, and Awareness. Each of these stats determines how efficient the driver is going to be on the grid, and whether they are viable for certain circuits or not.

Racecraft dictates whether the driver is capable of working their way through the race to finish the race or lap at a higher position from where they initially started. Experience determines how much of the driver's accomplishments as a racer contribute to their overall experience, especially in the earlier stages of their career.

Pace rewards drivers who either set the fastest lap times in a race or come close to beating the fastest or qualifying lap times. And lastly, Awareness in F1 24 dictates the driver's skill, and also their track discipline.
