Fnatic ended its partnership with ONIC after nearly eight months. On January 4, 2025, both organizations officially announced the end of their collaboration, which came as a surprise to many. Under the partnership, their Filipino MLBB team was crowned undisputed champions at the M6 World Championship.
In May 2024, Fnatic partnered with ONIC and entered the Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) scene. The Indonesian and Filipino lineups of ONIC then played under the banner of Fnatic ONIC. The partnership was announced just ahead of the Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024, which was part of the prestigious Esports World Cup Riyadh last year.

Both organizations enjoyed great success during the eight months of their partnership. Their Filipino roster delivered outstanding performances and emerged victorious in the MPL Philippines Season 14, earning the first prize of around $47,000.
The Filipino roster showcased one-sided dominance in the M6 World Championship, which was held in Malaysia. The team lifted the prestigious trophy and received a huge prize of $320,000. Star player Kelra was the top performer at the Grand Finals.
The Indonesian lineup won the MPL Indonesia Season 13 in June 2024. However, the team played in the MSC Riyadh but failed to achieve a respectable position. The squad finished ninth in the overall standings. The roster also had an average run in the MPL Indonesia Season 14 and couldn't progress to the M6 World Championship.
Both the Filipino and Indonesian MLBB lineups will now play under the banner of ONIC. Moonton has already announced the official major MLBB events for the 2025 season. ONIC Philippines will participate in the upcoming Challenge Season of the Snapdragon Pro Series S6 APAC.
