The Esports World Cup will hold the CS2 championship between July 17 and 21, 2024. Many major teams, such as G2 Esports, Fnatic, and Heroic, have made significant changes to their rosters ahead of the tournament. Now, Furia Esports too followed up with the addition of skullz on July 9, 2024. The player was formerly with Team Liquid and has now replaced arT, who was benched from the Counter-Strike 2 roster on April 16 earlier this year.

FalleN and chelo have been with the CS2 team since July 3, 2023. Both have been a mainstay on the roster; FalleN serves as the in-game leader.

yuurih, who first signed to the team in 2017, is one of the oldest serving members of the organization with perhaps the most experience with the current CS2 roster. This is because he was on the team before FalleN, chelo, and KSCERATO who was promoted to the roster from Furia Academy in 2018.

Here is the Furia roster as of now:

  • yuurih
  • KSCERATO
  • FalleN
  • chelo
  • skullz

The organization is trying to put together a strong roster ahead of the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The stakes are higher than ever with a $1,000,000 prize pool on the line with multiple major teams vying for the top prize of $400,00. Organizations can also win from the $20 million prize pool distributed among the top clubs depending on their standings.
