Anxiety's release in Disney Speedstorm has been confirmed, as publisher Gameloft has announced the Anxiety Time Limited Event is on its way via an official X post. While rumors about the arrival of Inside Out 2's main antagonist have been circulating in the community, very few expected the official confirmation to arrive so soon.

The Anxiety Time Limited Event in Disney Speedstorm

An official X post from July 19, 2024, has revealed that the Anxiety Time Limited Event is arriving soon in the game.

The only official information we have so far is that Anxiety in Disney Speedstorm will arrive donning the orange-white top and dark-brown trousers she was seen wearing in the movie. Her wide eyes, anxious and jumpy behavior, as well as her iconic messy hairstyle, have been preserved by the designers.

While some rumors in the community suggested that the Anxiety Time Limited Event would arrive in the game on July 19, the same day the tweet above was made, that didn't happen.

When will Anxiety likely release in Disney Speedstorm?

While the community is excited about getting their hands on the new character arriving from the Inside Out 2 universe, a release date hasn't been offered yet.

Per the blog live on their official website, characters like Joy, Anger, Sadness, Disgust, and Fear arrived in the game with the official launch of Disney Speedstorm Inside Out-inspired Season 8. However, Anxiety and Ennui will launch as a part of the Mid Season update.

Each season in the racing game usually lasts for two months. Since the eighth season went live on June 13, 2024, we can assume that the new character will arrive by the third week of July 2024.
