The Genshin Impact 2024 Anniversary event has officially started, with HoYoverse having released the adventure across Teyvat four years ago. With the occasion comes a ton of goodies that you can obtain, including a brand-new pet called the Firstborn Firesprite.

In keeping with the themes of Natlan, this small saurian will accompany you on your journey if you have it equipped. This adorable little creature is like most other pets that you have received before, and you can claim it from the Genshin Impact 2024 anniversary mail.

This Firstborn Firesprite will be included in the Genshin Impact 2024 Anniversary reward mail that will be sent out each day from September 28 to October 1, 2024. The tiny Saurian can be seen floating beside you, sitting and relaxing in the eggshell from which it hatched and often playing with the shell like a ball.

How to equip the Genshin Impact 2024 Anniversary reward: Firstborn Firesprite pet

Before you can equip the pet, you must first go to your mail and claim the reward. You should receive 400x Primogems in Genshin Impact and the Firstborn Firesprite pet for the first day (September 28, 2024). After claiming the rewards, open your inventory via either the shortcut wheel or by pausing the game and accessing the option.

Go to your Gadgets tab (sixth one from left), and you will find the pet Firstborn Firesprite waiting among the other items you have collected. Click on it, and you will get the option to equip it. Keep in mind that you can equip only one pet at a time, so if you have something else equipped, the Firstborn Firesprite will take its place.

Once equipped, this tiny Saurian will accompany you throughout Teyvat while floating on its shell and will hide in it when you encounter danger.
