The final set of Genshin Impact 2024 Anniversary rewards has been sent out, and this time, HoYoverse has gifted all the travelers a new gadget called the Kaboom Box to commemorate the game's 4th birthday. It's a simple tool that sends off confetti when triggered and you can obtain it from your in-game mail.

The mail also contains 400x Primogems in Genshin Impact that you can claim to complete the promised total of 1600 Primogem rewards that the developers gave out to commemorate the 4th anniversary.

The Kaboom Box is a simple gadget. After claiming it from the in-game mail, you can access it from the Gadget tab in your inventory to set it up and then hit it a few times to trigger a small explosion of confetti. You can find this gadget from the fourth and final mail of the Genshin Impact 2024 anniversary rewards that was sent out on October 1, 2024.

The item itself is a small box that contains a pyro slime. It sets off a small explosion of confetti when you hit it a few times. However, keep in mind that the number of hits is random, meaning it can explode in either a few hits or withstand beating for a while.

How to use the Genshin Impact 4th anniversary Kaboom Box reward

Using this item is quite simple as you will need to follow a few short steps. Open your inventory either via the shortcut wheel or by pausing the game, and then go to your Gadget tab (the sixth one from your left). Find the Kaboom Box among the various items you have collected on your journey.

Click on it for the option to use it and that will summon the box in front of you. Hit it with your character a few times and the gadget will explode into pieces of confetti.
