Genshin Impact 4.8 brings back Kaveh banner after 440 days since his last feature

Kaveh is finally set to reappear again after a long time in the upcoming Genshin Impact 4.8 version. Being one of the most beloved characters in the community, his long absence was noticed and even became a running meme and joke. But it seems like the architect from the nation of Sumeru is finally set to make a return in the upcoming 4.8 update of Genshin Impact.

Kaveh makes a return in the first phase of Genshin Impact 4.8

The official Genshin Impact X account recently announced the banners for version 4.8's Phase 1. While Nilou and Navia are set to make an appearance as the featured 5 stars of the update, the 4-star character section took a lot of people by surprise.

As announced in the post, the following 4-star characters will receive a rate-up in Phase 1 of Genshin Impact 4.8:

• Ningguang
• Kirara
• Kaveh

Kirara's new Genshin Impact skin will be introduced during the event of this patch so many players had anticipated her inclusion, but Kaveh came as a major surprise. It has been over a year since his banner last came and fans have been asking for his return ever since. He is certainly one of the most beloved characters thanks to the excellent writing that he received during the Interdarshan Championship event.

The running joke/rumor that Hoyoverse locked him and he won't see a rerun again has been finally debunked and you can now look forward to adding him or a few of his constellations to your account.

But the architect from Sumeru is not the only thing returning with the Genshin Impact 4.8 update. Xiphos' Moonlight, one of the most coveted 4-star weapons is also set to make a glorious return in the Phase 1 event wishes of the game. You can look forward to adding it to your collection or even acquiring some extra copies to refine and make your existing Xiphos' Moonlight even stronger.
