A recent in-game announcement has delighted the Genshin Impact community a bit, as HoYoverse acknowledged a few issues that affect the kit for several characters. Recognizing the impact these bugs may have on the gaming experience of many, the developer has announced a compensation of 100 primogems to every player.

This compensation serves as an apology gift to those affected by this bug since Genshin Impact's 4.8 update was released. The dev team has acknowledged the complaints of the people affected and is working to patch out the issue once and for all.

Genshin Impact players received a notification in the in-game announcement tab earlier today, which addressed a bug that messed with the kit of several characters. The issue is related to the Normal Attack sequence's reset time interval for characters like Clorinde, Sethos, and Chiori.

This bug appeared after the game's ongoing 4.8 update and understandably upset many people who own these characters as it messed with the gameplay. Many of these units, namely Clorinde, are also meta-picks for the Spiral Abyss, and this issue could have resulted in the failure of completion of each floor in time.

Alongside addressing the issue, HoYoverse announced that every player, who has reached the Adventure Rank of 5 before July 25, will be eligible to receive 100 Primogems as compensation.

Previously, the developer made a change that "fixed a problem" with Neuvillette's kit. This update removed an exploit where you can set your mouse DPI to the highest settings and rotate the Chief Ludex to destroy all the enemies surrounding you.

This resulted in HoYoverse getting sued by its Chinese playerbase, and the company ultimately rolled back the "fix" to Neuvillette and issued a compensation of 1600 primogems in Genshin Impact.

The Chinese gaming giant is having a bit of a pickle with its open-world RPG, especially after the 4.8 update, but the company is ready to work to fix these issues and keep its game as user-friendly as possible.
