Genshin Impact 4.8 Natlan teaser reveals 3 new characters for 5.0 banners
The community will be thrilled to get a first look at Natlan characters from the recent preview teaser. A reliable source, FouL, has already shared information about these Genshin Impact 5.0 units. Here is a quick overview of the potential playable units:
- 4-star Geo Polearm: Female
- 5-star Hydro Catalyst: Female
- 5-star Dendro Claymore: Male
This leaked information aligns with what's shown during the Natlan sneak peek. Additionally, the official teaser has confirmed that both female units use kid and teen character models. The male unit, on the other hand, uses a tall male model. We see all three characters using what appears to be related to Natlan's upcoming mount system while engulfed in a mysterious light.
According to another leak from FouL, the Hydro Catalyst character can use Elemental Skill to enter a special state that allows her to travel over water at the same speed as Yelan's Elemental Skill. Considering this, we can safely assume that other Natlan characters, including the ones shown in the preview teaser, will have similar gimmicks in their kit.
Although Genshin Impact officials had teased them after the livestream, they will not debut anytime soon. Players may already know they are new playable units from Natlan and will have to wait for the version 5.0 update's global launch. According to the current update schedule, all three characters will become playable units in the 5.0 update, which is expected to drop on August 28, 2024.
