Genshin Impact reveals Chasca, an upcoming version 5.2 character

With the Genshin Impact 5.1 update only a few days away, HoYoverse has lifted the curtain on the featured 5-star character of version 5.2, Chasca. The huntress from the Flower-Feather clan will finally become playable, wielding the power of Anemo. Chasca has already played a major role during the 5.0 Archon Quest of Genshin Impact by aiding us in rescuing Kachina from the Night Kingdom and is now all set to extend her help in overcoming the challenges of Teyvat.

Chasca officially revealed for Genshin Impact version 5.2

Chasca was teased as a playable character back in the Natlan preview trailer, where she appeared alongside other characters, who played a prominent part in the narrative surrounding the nation of Pyro. Now she is ready to debut as the latest 5-star in the upcoming 5.2 update of the game.

The announcement post stated the following regarding the huntress from the Flower-Feather clan of Natlan.

"...We have come to a full and thorough understanding of the folly and recklessness of our recent actions, and agree to set aside our differences and move forward as one... This statement has been drafted entirely of our own free will, with no objections whatsoever. Additionally, we would like to thank the Peacemaker for her outstanding contributions with respect to facilitating this reconciliation."

As was already known from the events of the 5.0 Archon Quest, Chasca acts as a law enforcement officer and peacekeeper among the six tribes of Natlan. She is also likely one of the prophesized six heroes who will save the nation of Pyro.

Expected release date for Genshin Impact version 5.2

Given the game's 5.1 version is all set to arrive on October 9, 2024, It can be expected that the 5.2 update will be released on November 20 of this year.
