HoYoverse brings back one of the biggest collaborations, as another Genshin Impact x KFC collab event is set to start in China. Featuring the magician siblings Lyney and Lynette this time around, the new collab will go live later this month. Once again, the game's Chinese fans can rush to their nearest Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet and grab the special collaborative food items on the menu.

A new in-game reward, KFC Glider is also on the offering. This item is highly likely to be locked behind a premium collab food item like the last time HoYoverse collaborated with Colonel Sanders.

HoYoverse announced a second Genshin Impact x KFC collab event featuring Lyney and Lynette

This second collaboration between HoYoverse's open-world RPG and the popular fast-food chain was announced during the Chinese livestream for Genshin Impact's 4.8 update. The Kentucky Fried Chicken chains in China are again teaming up with the gaming giant to bring special merch, rewards, and obviously savory food items to the table.

Kentucky Fried Chicken took to the Chinese social media site Weibo to announce the new food items on offer as well as the rewards the players will get. Besides the much coveted Wind Glider, fans attending the event will get merch featuring the siblings from the House of Heart, Lyney, and Lynette including special cutoffs featuring the magicians donning their new attire.

The new KFC event will begin on July 8, 2024, with a tight-packed schedule to bring the fans new food items and the chance to obtain the rewards. From what was posted on Chinese social media, the collaboration will be divided into the following four stages.

• July 8: Special sundae launch
• July 11: Offline big screen surprise launch
• July 12: Collaboration package launch
• July 20: Offline flash mob

According to Genshin Impact's bilibili account, 10x randomly selected travelers will get [KFC] the original God-connected badge] or [KFC] the original God-connected Shayak Ticket Set] Additionally, the redemption code from the collab KFC bucket will offer the following

• "Wings of Acquaintance" Wind Glider x1
• Furnishing "Funny Carpet" x1
• 2 dishes and 1 drink consumable in-game items

This collaboration will last from July 17 to September 10.

Only the Collaboration Package will likely have the code for the new glider similar to the event of last time. However, this is not the only collab Hoyoverse has planned as there is also another collab with the SEA Aquarium, taking place in September 2024.
